For the afterparties, if you get a chance to hear Murat ..... go. One of the best pure techno DJ's i've ever heard. There is also usually an after party at a little art gallery off Rosa Parks, kind of away from the core downtown area. I was there for a DJ lineup that was something insane like Larry Heard, Roy Davis Jr, and Kenny Dixon, and you could buy a gallon of sangria for 7$.
